It’s only January, but R.A. is already embarking on his tour of the new year. Check out the flyer above to see if the Rugged Man is coming to a city near you. Full details on each date are available on the shows page, including links to buy tickets.
In the best episode yet of his “Film School” web series, the Rugged Man goes on location in the “most fake, plastic, horrible, disgusting” place on Earth: Hollywood. R.A. then proceeds to diss everyone from Sting to The Muppets to Billy Bob Thornton to “blackface motherfucker” Al Jolson.
R.A. plays interviewer after a recent studio session with the god Rakim, asking him about the contentious relationship between Ra and Big Daddy Kane in the late 80s and early 90s. Expect new music from this pair of Long Island legends coming soon.
Recently, R.A. took off a few minutes from a recording session at No Mystery Studio in Manhattan to kick it with Amalie Bruun. If you don’t know Amalie, she’s a talented Danish singer who sang the hook on R.A. and Vinnie Paz‘s track “Nosebleed.” In this clip, the two preview a song from the Rugge Man’s upcoming album Legends Never Die. He also tried to convince Amalie to sing some dirty lyrics, but she wasn’t having it.

Check the whole interview here, where Tech speaks on how we met, getting super lyrical with me, and PUSSY FACES (yes, pussy faces). The track “Hallelujah” will be on my upcoming album LEGENDS NEVER DIE.

As the album release gets closer and closer to its release date, I’m looking for young, hungry soldiers worldwide to come join me to help push it and spread the word. (more…)

After he saw it he inbox’d me the line from the video “I’ll Kill the Fucking Snake” and then added “Yo! son, we gotta do a crazy video like that for me”. So he sent me the song. (more…)
